My approach

Counselling and psychotherapy are umbrella terms for talking therapies that provide a wide variety of psychological help.

I believe that by building a strong, trusting and therapeutic relationship, I can help you feel heard and accepted, allowing you the space to process the issues you may be struggling with.

Areas of expertise

I am an experienced integrative counsellor using both person-centred and psychodynamic theory. Together we may be able to gain insight into your past experiences and how these might be affecting your present, whilst valuing your capacity and desire to change and grow.

Therapy can help you deal with emotional distress and difficult decisions, all whilst developing self-acceptance and understanding. You do not have to be in a crisis to access therapy.

Who I work with

I work with people struggling with a variety of issues including:

  • Anxiety and depression

  • Bereavement, loss and life transitions

  • Relationship difficulties and family problems

  • Trauma and abuse

  • Low self-esteem or confidence

  • Stress and work related issues

  • Difficulties coping with emotions

I work with individual adults on a one-to-one basis either face-to-face or online.

Each session is 50 minutes, at the same time each week.

Consultation

I offer an initial 30 minute consultation.

This will allow us a chance to get to know each other, talk about what you need help with, and for you to ask me any questions about me and what our work together will look like.

From here we will be able to decide if we want to work together.

Feel free to call or email to arrange an initial consultation.

Fees

Initial 30 minute consultation - £25

Weekly 50 minute sessions - £55 per session
